Dolphin Structure, New Haven, CT
Scope of services include soil borings in
the water to a depth of 120 ft. using
barge mounted rigs, collection of rock
core samples from bedrock, preparation
of Geotechnical report, design and
analysis of steel pipe pile foundation for
the dolphin structure to accommodate
large lateral loads from docking ships.
In addition, length of the existing
wooden piles and steel piles was
determined by NDT testing using
Parallel Seismic methods.
