New housing development required
construction of an access bridge. Scope
included Geotechnical Investigation to
evaluate the sub-surface soil conditions
for the foundation of a single span bridge.
Provide design of bridge foundation using
steel pipe piles, construction monitoring
during installation of piles.
Also, included is the evaluation and
recommendations for improving the
bearing capacity of sub-surface soils for
the foundation of some of the residential
units with difficult soils.
